Only from Practice Sports, Inc. FlexNets #36 Nylon 12H x 12 W x 55 L. #36 Nylon Batting Cage Net 12 High, 12 Wide, 55 Long, with (6) Steel Snap Hooks, Border Rope, Rib Line, Doorway, Impact/Baffle Net. Square Mesh Size is 1-7/8. Compare our features with theirs and you'll see the difference.Hung-Square 1-7/8 knotted mesh (superior to diamond & knotless). LARGE Door-way w/3' double-direction flaps for safety (reinforced w/Yellow rope). Baffle/Impact net - installed behind batter to absorb impact & extend tunnel life-span.
Steel Snaps - sewn into corners & ends of rib-line (6 total). Top "Rib-Line" - reduces sag & creates attachment point. 3/8 Sewn Rope Border with POSI-LOCK stitching around perimeter of cage for attachment points (including bottom). UV Inhibitors EXTRUDED with NEVER-FADE black color (the best color for reflecting UV rays).
Treated with Resin Bonding to secure knots, minimizing shrinking / stretching / water absorption. 1-piece no-assembly construction - netting comes pre-seamed in cage shape - simply remove from package & connect to your hardware!10% Resin Bond on Nylon Nets Secures knots and makes Nylon net more weather resistant. Nylon Melting Point = 510º Means faster approvals from Fire Marshals. Black UV Inhibitors Infused to the core for ultimate UV protection. Stretched to Size Hydraulically stretched at factory to improve knot tightness and reduce stretching and shrinking over time. The # symbol followed by a number refers to the gauge of the material. Gauge is the thickness of the net. The higher the number, the thicker the net, the longer the lifespan. Nylon is the longest lasting material for batting cage nets on the market because it provides better abrasion resistance than any other batting cage net material. Square mesh doesnt bunch up like diamond mesh. This means Square Mesh batting cage nets are easier to produce and install. Square mesh also provides a more professional appearance than diamond mesh. We use what the pros use. Knotted netting is superior for direct impact sports usage because it has a higher overall strength and durability. It's important to note that our knotted nets include a bonding agent to keep the knots locked tight in place. You will find that knotless netting is traditionally cheaper than knotted netting, because less overall material is used. Twisted netting has a higher abrasion resistance than braided because Twisted nets have less surface area than braided. This allows allows the balls to slide and spin off of the surface. Braided netting does typically have a higher overall break-strength. We sell only twisted netting because we value abrasion resistance over breaking strength in batting cages. Because batting cages are rarely, if ever, tested at their breaking strengh. Batting cage nets wear out over time because of abrasion, not because theyve reached their breaking strength. Twisted twine also has a higher density and overall weight when compared to a braided net of equal gauge because braided nets have more space between the fibers than twisted nets.
More density means more material, and therefore more abrasion resistance. This means that twisted nets have a longer lifespan than braided nets. Hand-Sewn into all four top corners and the ends of the Rib Line. (6) Snap Hooks are included standard. Sewn-in Snap Hooks make installation easy.3/8 Edge Rope with Posi-Lock stitching. Creates multiple attachment points for easier installation. Helps gather loose balls for easy clean up. Oversized 7 x 3 door with Double Direction Safety Flaps.
